Part C: Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2/11/2026.
1. About us
These terms apply to your purchase of courses and digital resources from Natalie Shirt, a sole trader trading as Advanced Learning Tutoring, 20 Cloverley Road, Ongar, natalie@advancedlearningtutoring.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. Who can buy
You must be 18 or over. Courses are designed for children aged 12-18 and are bought by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising the child’s use of the course and website.
3. The course
- Courses are online digital content: video lessons (hosted on YouTube), downloadable PDFs, practice sets and quizzes.
- The course description on our website describes what is included. We may make improvements or add content.
- We do not guarantee any particular exam result. Progress depends on many factors, including the effort and support given.
- The course is an independent resource and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Pearson Edexcel. “Edexcel” is used only to describe the specification the content is designed around.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping login details safe. Accounts are for one student only. Please tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed an account.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling including VAT. You pay a single one-off fee at checkout through Stripe. Nothing renews and no further payments are taken unless you choose to buy something else. We may change prices for future orders but not for purchases you have already made.
6. Access period
Lifetime access.
7. One-off payment, no automatic renewal
The course is a single purchase. Access lasts for the period in section 6 and does not renew automatically. Before the period ends we may offer an optional extension, which you are free to decline.
8. Your right to cancel
Your right to cancel and to a refund is explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Our content and what you can do with it
All course materials belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own family’s private study. You must not copy, share, resell, upload or publish them, or share your login with others.
10. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site, attempt to bypass access controls, post harmful content or share another person’s account. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches, in which case [we may refund the unused part of your payment].
11. Faulty or misdescribed content
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If there is a problem, contact us and we will put it right, or give a refund or price reduction where the law requires it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
12. Our liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or by our negligence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not liable for loss to your business, as the course is for personal use.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or hosting outages.
14. Complaints
Please contact natalie@advancedlearningtutoring.co.uk and we will reply within 5 working days.
15. General
We may update these terms for future orders. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
