Outline for Online GCSE Revision Course (Easter Holidays)
Course Overview
This intensive Easter revision course is designed to prepare students for their GCSE exams in Maths and Sciences. It includes targeted sessions for Foundation and Higher Maths, as well as Combined and Triple Science content. The schedule is divided to ensure students can focus on key topics relevant to their exam boards.

GCSE Foundation Maths

- Total Duration: 6 hours (2 hours per session)

- Arithmetic, decimals, fractions, percentages
- Algebra basics (simplifying, solving linear equations)
- Geometry (angles, area, perimeter, and basic transformations)
- Statistics (mean, median, mode, and interpreting data)
- Problem-solving and past paper practice
GCSE Higher Maths
- Number of Sessions: 3
- Total Duration: 6 hours (2 hours per session)
- Dates:
- 7th April: 1pm-3pm
- 8th April: 1pm-3pm
- 9th April: 1pm-3pm
- Content Focus:
- Advanced algebra (quadratics, inequalities, and simultaneous equations)
- Geometry (circle theorems, advanced transformations, vectors)
- Trigonometry and Pythagoras

GCSE Science
Biology

- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Structure:
- Day 1: Cell biology, organisation, infection & response and bioenergetics.
- Day 2: Homeostasis, inheritance, variation & evolution and ecology
- Total Duration: 6 hours (2 lessons, 3 hours each)

- Date: 11th April
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Content: Advanced biology topics exclusive to triple science, including biotechnology and the brain.
Chemistry

For Combined & Triple Students
- Dates: 10th & 15th April
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Structure:
- Day 1: Atomic structure, bonding, the periodic table, energy changes and chemical changes.
- Day 2: Rates of reaction, organic chemistry, chemistry of the atmosphere and chemical analysis
- Total Duration: 6 hours (2 lessons, 3 hours each)

- Date: 10th April
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Content: Additional content for triple science students, such as equilibria and advanced organic chemistry.
Physics

For Combined & Triple Students
- Dates: 14th & 17th April
- Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Structure:
- Day 1: Energy, electricity, particle model and atomic structure.
- Day 2: Forces, waves and magnetism.
- Total Duration: 6 hours (2 lessons, 3 hours each)

- Date: 14th April
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Content: Additional topics for triple science, including space physics.
Additional Details
- Format: All sessions will be conducted online through a live virtual classroom held on Zoom. Sessions will be recorded to review at a later date or if you are unable to attend the live lesson.
- Materials: Students will receive electronic copies of revision notes, practice questions, and exam-style problems after each session.
- Class Size: Limited to ensure personalised attention and interactive learning.
